The Duchess of Malfi

By John Webster

This telling of Webster's Jacobean tragedy cuts to the heart of the play by unleashing the brutal, beautiful and visceral nature of this harrowing tragedy.

With only seven actors, six chairs and a gramophone, Malfi confronts the themes of morality, class and sex head on. The play tells the story of the recently widowed Duchess and her fight for strength amid the jealousy and dark violence of her family.
